Mercedes-Benz EQC interior includes wide displays

Mercedes-Benz has released more teasers of its upcoming EQC, which will celebrate its global debut on September 4. The EQC will be the first model to be parked under the German automaker’s EQ sub-brand, with many more on the way.

The two videos posted here give us a better look at other parts of the SUV, starting with the interior. The widescreen displays on the dash are familiar items, and it looks like the EQC will benefit from the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system.

This system is also present in the A-Class but has been modified to reflect the EQ branding associated with the SUV. We also see a rather slim profile for the rectangular air-con vents, which are framed by a silver trim together with a blue starter button. This differs from the usual circular units we find in other Mercedes cars.

Other aspects of the EQC’s interior like the ambient lighting, touchpad controller, climate control switchgear and steering wheel are all things we’ve seen before.

Moving to the outside, we are shown the slender taillights that will be present on the EQC. This confirms what we’ve seen in numerous spyshots in the past, and is in line with what was previewed by the Generation EQ concept.
