Now in its 10th edition, the Sepang 1000KM (S1K) happens this weekend at Sepang International Circuit (SIC). S1K which is an event intended for race cars below 1,600 cc, has free entry to the main grandstand for the entire weekend, while weekend paddock passes are RM100.
SIC’s circuit lighting will feature in S1K, with racers flagging off on Saturday at 12.30 p.m. The race is scheduled to run till 9.30 pm under the floodlights with the prize presentation held directly after.
Action continues to the wee hours of Saturday night with the Audi R8 LMS Cup Race 1 starting at 10.10 p.m. and ending at 10.40 p.m. On Sunday the continues with the running of the F3 and F4 SEA Championship races as well as Race 2 of the Audi R8 LMS Cup as well as a Classic Car race at 9.30 a.m.
