2019 Indian Roadmaster Elite limited edition on sale

Featuring hand finished paintwork accented by genuine 24-karat gold leaf badging, the 2019 Indian Roadmaster Elite is now on sale. Designed for the touring rider, the Roadmaster Elite comes with all the conveniences expected of a modern touring motorcycle but in the style of the classic Indian Motorcycle with pricing starting at USD 36,999 (RM150,452).

Carrying the Thunderstroke 111 engine which displaces 1,811 cc, Indian claims the Roadmaster gets 151 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm along with three ride modes – Tour, Standard and Sport – which changes throttle mapping and response. To increase rider comfort, the rear cylinder is shut down when the Roadmaster is at a standstill and ambient temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius, which, in Malaysia, means it will be off most of the time.

With a limited production run of only 200 units, the Roadmaster Elite is said to take some 30 hours of manual work just for the paint and badging. The sound system for the 2019 Roadmaster Elite has been upgraded, with 600-watts coming from the PowerBand audio system.

Speakers are installed in the fairing, trunk and saddlebags, and are 50% louder than the stock system offered on the base model Roadmaster. Indian Motorcycle’s Ride Command integrates all the Roadmaster’s infotainment and connects with the rider’s smartphone using Bluetooth, including navigation and remote access to vehicle status.

Rider conveniences also include a genuine leather two-up touring seat individually heated for rider and passenger, heated handgrips, keyless ignition, a push button power windshield and LED lighting throughout. The weatherproof saddlebags are remote locking and the top box has enough space for two full-face helmets, giving a total of 140 litres of storage space.

Beautiful bike, more so the Indian Scout/Bobber all seems to fall in place perfectly in my opinion. Sadly not sure why don’t see much on the road compare to Harley.
