Mitsubishi ‘Splashing Break’ promo – up to RM6k off

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is having a ‘Splashing Break’ promotion for the month of March, offering cash rebates for its SUVs and holiday packages to local destinations.

Selected customers who purchase a Mitsubishi Outlander or Mitsubishi ASX stand a chance to win a holiday package to either Cherating, Janda Baik, Desaru or Cameron Highlands. The SUVs also come with cash rebates – RM6,000 for the Outlander 2.0L and 2.4L, and RM4,000 for the ASX 4WD and 2WD.

The seven-seater Outlander is priced at RM137,888 for the 2.0L and RM152,888 for the 2.4L. The compact ASX starts from RM118,866 for the 2WD and RM133,336 for the 4WD variant.

The Triton range is not eligible for the holiday contest, but the just-refreshed pick-up truck comes with cash rebates as well – RM4,000 for the VGT MT, VGT MT Premium, VGT AT Premium and VGT Adventure X; RM5,000 for the Triton Quest and RM6,000 for the VGT AT variant.

Local car made for Malaysians by a Malaysian national car company like Proton should not be RM123k when your Jepunis Outlander only RM130k

Malaysian National Car company should sell PRoton X70 cheaper to rakyat of Malaysia

Take the base x70 which is 100k for comparison and u will find x70 is better equipped compared to Outlander. There u have it.. 40k delta for jepunis vs boleh land product, dude.

Dude…. With that price of 2.0 outlander.. And being a 7 seater… No 2nd row air cond vent….. Seriously….. And guess what.. That sluggish b411 engine to move that heavy 1425 kg kerb weight with only 145 hp and 196NM of torque…. Trust me… You will regret to get this sluggish and whiny cvt gear box…… Being there done that…

Is this a fake news or what? No regret maaa. Fuel economy is not bad for a 4WD, 7 seater too.

No rear air-con vent? My kids in 2nd & third row never complained of feeling hot. They only complained sometimes the air-con is too cold even at 24 degrees Centigrade. It’s mitsubishi air-con maaa.

Audio head unit? Kenwood with Android Auto is cool.

Been there, done that too. & still driving it. No regret even after X70 (too bad, no 7 seater) & Aruz (way cheaper, lots of features but old gearbox & underpowered) came out.

Outlander 7 seater is RM137k. Belum bargain lagi. Bargain kaw kaw you can get this highly acclaimed Outlander for RM130k

And our Malaysian 5 seater is RM123k.

I think most Malaysians have big families and would go for the 7 seater.

Still outdated and still loses out a lot to Proton X70. Better if they reduced prices by Rm30,000 to compete. Otherwise their only seller is Triton.
