Go Automobile Manufacturing (Go Auto) has announced an update to its H1 SUV, now featuring a brand new double-din Android-based touchscreen head unit, as well as a sleeker 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with five Y-spoke design. The latter is only available on the range-topping Elite variant, though, and the rest get the same multispoke unit from before. There’s also a redesigned adjustable head restraint for the rear middle seat, which is standard across the board.
Apart from that, the car is pretty much unchanged. The Haval H1 is available in the same three flavours, starting with the base Comfort variant (RM59,748), Premium (RM65,583) and Elite (RM72,389). Included in the price (OTR) is a seven-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
Mechanically, the H1 is powered by a 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 105 hp and 138 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via the sole six-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). You may refer to the full spec sheet in the gallery below.
Standard kit includes reflector halogen headlights, fog lights, roof rails, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, fabric seats, and reverse sensors. Safety-wise, all models come with ABS with EBD and brake assist, stability control and hill start assist.
The Premium model adds leather seats, GPS navigation, reverse camera, Battery Alert Sensor (BAS) and a rear-view mirror with integrated SmartTAG reader. Meanwhile, the Elite tacks on projector halogen headlights with LED positioning lights, LED daytime running lights, a centre front armrest, a digital video recorder (i.e. a dash cam) and window tint.
Not was the previous HU crappy. So many RMA units seen at the SC. Took them long enough to upgrade it.
Once more China cars come to Malaysia, Proton X70 will be amongst the hundreds of China cars in Malaysia then.
Then you will see a price war. Now the X70 is overpriced at RM123k when in China, the car is sold for RM60k.
Wait till more competition come…..wait wait.
Please bore your ignorance somewhere.
The real Game Changer from China have been updated so habislah X70!
Aiyoyo still same face kah, china changed face 2 years ago loh
Kit-wise still loses to X70.
people waiting… for X50
Those booking Aruz also cancel and wait X50 launch. Some of the potential SUV buyers now only realized that Aruz is not cheapest SUV, actually is Haval H1.
Between this and X50, might as well go for X50. Everyone knows that Proton will be pressured to push out a 5 NCAP car. The H1 barely has 3. Quality wise, probably wont be much of a difference. But Proton’s might be cheaper, especially if they’re aiming to undercut Aruz and H1.
Tak laku = add on ah beng HU + alloy wheel
Isn’t that what Toyota did as well? I guess it does work.
Cheaper than Aruz, ask your whole family, relative and friends buy this compact SUV, value for money!
Haval’s rims always looks like affordable aftermarket stock. Haha!
Still stiff pricing. People waiting… X50 loh
HU changed to Android is the way to go, those recalcitrant European or American will suffer.
Kenapa Haval tak jumpa dalam March sales volume list?
VERY BAD FINISH…
The real Game Changer from updated Haval H1, habislah Aruz!!
