Mitsubishi opens new 3S centre in Bintulu, Sarawak

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), together with authorised dealer Auto Pacifica, recently celebrated the opening of a new 3S centre in Bintulu, Sarawak. The new outlet is the first one in Sarawak with Mitsubishi Motors’ new corporate identity and ‘Drive Your Ambition’ tagline.

The second showroom for the brand in the city, Auto Pacifica’s 3S centre is located at the Bintulu City Mall Commercial Centre along Jalan Johari Sunam. The RM500k, 3,000 sq.ft facility houses a customer lounge, a workshop capable of servicing up to three vehicles, and a parts storage area.

“Mitsubishi Motors was established in January 2005 in Malaysia. Auto Pacifica joined the Mitsubishi Motors family four years later in 2009, so this marks our tenth year as business partners! I would like to thank Auto Pacifica, a member of Samling Strategic Corporation, for its continuous support, making Triton the top two pick-up in Sarawak with 20.9% market share,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, CEO of MMM.

With this new outlet, the Mitsubishi network now has 54 showrooms (out of which 48 are 3S centres) and 55 service outlets in Malaysia. In East Malaysia, the brand is represented by 15 showrooms (seven in Sarawak and eight in Sabah). East Malaysia is a market where pick-up trucks are dominant, and MMM’s main product there is of course the Triton, which was recently given a Dynamic Shield facelift.

No rear aircond is not a problem. Kids in 3rd row always complaining the aircond is too cold. Honestly. Just tilt the vents upward to make the air circulation better.

My first time to see aircond power units painted black as to camouflage with the wall. But nice.
