It isn’t uncommon in China for the same car to have two different faces, and here’s another example of this. What you’re looking at here is the Honda Breeze, a product of Guangqi Honda (aka Guangzhou Honda or GAC Honda), which is a joint venture between the GAC Group and Honda Motor Company.
The Breeze is essentially a CR-V with revised front and rear ends, where the latter has a “simpler” look compared to the CR-V we have here. For starters, the taillight clusters are much slimmer in shape, and the vertical sections have been blacked out to emphasis this.
The lighting units are also linked by a subtle crease line instead of a chrome bar piece, while the tailgate gains an additional shutline between the Honda logo and badging. Further down, a black trim piece spans the width of the C-segment SUV to separate the lower apron, which sports trapezoidal-shaped exhausts and slim reflectors.
On the other end, the Breeze’s face is even more distinctive, as it appears to be modelled after the tenth-generation Accord. The Solid Wing Face design is clear to see, with a large chrome bar on the grille that meets with the “jewel eye” headlamps.
The bottom section houses a blacked-out lower intake and circular fog lamps, which has black trim that extend down the sides towards the rear. Curiously, there’s no black mouldings found on the wheel arches that is found on our CR-V. For now, there’s no photos of the Breeze’s cabin, but it should be identical to that of the CR-V.
In terms of dimensions, the Breeze is largely identical to the CR-V, as it shares the same width (1,855 mm), height (1,679 mm) and wheelbase (2,660 mm). The only thing different here is the length, with the Breeze measuring 4,634 mm compared to our CR-V’s 4,596 mm – likely due to the new bumpers.
According to CarNewsChina, this particular Breeze is the range-topping Black Edition variant that will be sold in China. Power comes from a 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 193 PS and 243 Nm of torque, paired to a CVT. A market launch is slated to take place in the fourth quarter of 2019.

China is Left Hand Drive, you drive la sorang2
Honda cars are game changers, every Honda line up design are just stunning and modern. Just look at this redesigned CRV, looks very stunning. I hope Proton can redesign the Geely Boyue instead of just sticking Proton logo.
Stop lah your game changing this, game over that BS. Carmakers you called game-changing like Nissan and Perodua are recalling cars due to deadly defects. Proton you said is game over but doing better and better every month.
it will leave the X70 behind in a breeze.
Boyue says: Welcome to my kingdom!
Funny how this looks much better than the global version.
Nice X4 tail lights!
sharper eyes front and back, and those side flanks at lower front bumpers, and clean butt redesign. looks like they are copying CX-5 design cues, or at least tribute to mazda for the new found design language.
Chinaman got taste!
so design wise goonna be [square]?
Honda designers very good in copy and paste…while spending work time dreaming powerfully.
