Following the market launch of the Mercedes-Benz EQC, the German carmaker has now released a new line of accessories for its fully electric SUV for customers who want to make their EQC a “dependable companion.”

For those who require more storage space beyond the 500 litres that the SUV offers, there’s a range of roof boxes with a capacity of 330, 400 or 450 litres, which are mounted on a specially designed roof rack.

The roof carrier can also accommodate racks to ferry bicycles as well as up to six pairs of skis or four snowboards. If cycling is the owner’s preferred hobby, Mercedes-Benz also offers a rear-mounted bicycle rack that is capable of carrying two or three bikes.

If you need bikes to store on the rack, the carmaker offers two of them designed by Focus, with 27 gears, suspension fork, disc brakes and 28-inch wheels. The Fitness Bike sports an aluminum frame while the Trekking Bike adds a hub dynamo, a pannier rack and mudguards.

For something less extreme, there’s a Cobra-designed golf stand bag that hold 14 clubs and features quick-release shoulder straps along with an EasyFlex base and automatic stand system. There’s also a motorsports-inspired drawstring sports bag and duffle bag for several pairs of shoes or fitness gear.

Those with children who need a child seat that matches their Mercedes-Benz can purchase a forward-facing one made by KidFix XP, which is suitable for children between 3.5 and 12 years of age. The child seat has a V-shaped backrest to adapt to the angle of the car seat’s backrest, and removable upholstery for easy cleaning. If you have fur kids instead, they can be made to feel more comfortable thanks to a special dog cushion by MiaCara, available in three sizes.

Last but not least, owners can purchase the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home charging station – with a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW- to keep their EQC’s 80 kWh battery pack juiced up to power the dual-motor powertrain.
