Porsche reveals Exclusive Taycan: accessories galore!

Porsche has just revealed the Exclusive Taycan, giving customers of the electric car an early taste of what its bespoke division is capable of offering. Kicking things off is paint options – the pair of Taycan Turbos you see above are finished in Dolomite Silver Metallic and Mamba Green Metallic.

The exterior comes with a raft of customisations, starting with the SportDesign package. This includes a specially designed upper part of the front apron, black side skirts with body-coloured inlays, black rear diffuser with painted side fins, and a body-coloured registration plate holder up front.

For those who desire a more sporty treatment, the SportDesign Package Carbon is the answer. This replaces the body-coloured skirtings with carbon-fibre, and the use of the composite also extends to the side mirror caps. As an extra touch, the Porsche script along the rear LED light strip can be finished in Glacier Ice Blue instead of plain chrome.

Other customisable items include the wheels – the Mamba Green Taycan Turbo gets dual-tone 21-inch Mission E Design Wheels painted in body colour, but the one you really want is the 21-inch Taycan Exclusive Design Wheels with carbon-fibre aeroblades. Exterior finishing touches include Iceblue LED matrix headlights, black-painted Taycan badges, and Porsche LED puddle lights.

Inside, there is a new Chalk Beige theme which adorn everything below the centre dash, and that includes the seat belts as well. A matte carbon-fibre interior package can be had – the unvarnished material can be found on the door cards and steering wheel.

Noteworthy additions include a Sport Chrono stopwatch with white dial, Accent Package (interior trims painted in exterior body colour), Porsche Crest on the seat headrest and centre armrest lid, as well as illuminated door sill guards finished in matte carbon-fibre.

To recap, Porsche’s first ever electric line-up comprise of the Taycan 4S (the current entry-level model), Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S. Outputs range from 571 PS to 761 PS and 1,050 Nm on the Turbo S, the latter allowing a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.8 seconds. Drag coefficient is the same across the range, at 0.22 Cd. So, what do you think of this?
