Getting its official launch in Malaysia is the 2025 Benda Chinchilla 500 cruiser, priced at RM27,888. Three colours are offered – Black, Blue and Grey – and pricing does not include road tax, insurance and registration, while a two-year unlimited mileage warranty is provided.
Power for the Chinchilla 500 comes from a 475.6 cc V-twin mill, producing 52 hp at 8,800 rpm and 48 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm. Going through a six-speed gearbox, final drive on the Chinchilla 500 uses a belt and is capable of a 150 km/h maximum speed.
With the entire cruiser weighing 212 kg and carrying 16-litres of fuel in the tank, the Chinchilla 500’s ergonomics suits shorter riders with a 705 mm high seat. Wheel sizing is 16-inches front and rear, wearing 150/80 ad 180/65 tyres.
Braking uses single hydraulic discs on the front and rear while two-channel ABS and traction control is standard equipment. Suspension is doe with upside-dow forks in front and preload-adjustable shock absorbers in the rear.
Riding information is displayed in a single round gauge above the handlebars and LED lighting is used throughout. Other riding conveniences include a round digital instrument panel and USB-A and USB-C charging sockets for the rider’s electronics.
In China, it is priced at 26,980 yuan (approximately RM16,345). here add RK 11,000, so high profit.
