Tan Chong Group loans 30 units of Nissan, GAC Motor and Renault vehicles to Putra Heights gas fire victims

The cars keep pouring in. This time, it’s Tan Chong Motor Holdings (TCMH) and Warisan TC Holdings (WTCH), which will jointly provide assistance to residents of Putra Heights impacted by the gas pipeline leak fire that took place on April 1.

The companies are deploying at least 30 units of Nissan, GAC Motor and Renault vehicles under a loan programme at no cost for a period of one month. The initiative is a collaborative effort between TCMH, WTCH, the transport ministry, Selangor state government and local authorities – all are working in close coordination to expedite aid distribution and support the community, the companies said in a statement.

“It is disheartening to witness the extent of impact and damage to the residents, especially during this festive period. Our hearts go out to them and we wish for quick recovery to those who were injured. We hope that our support can help affected residents to get back to their daily lives and ease any mobility disruptions,” said Daniel Ho Wai Ming, TCMH group CEO.

Affected residents can contact the Selangor exco’s office at 6016-4122721 (Jen) to register for the car loan.

What is so special about the putra heights victims that everyone is offering loan cars? Why no such help for flood victims?

Sure, because they are potential buyer. They are at the rich residential zone. The help is more like an advertisement.
