The BMW i7 is BMW’s luxury electric sedan, launched in this generation in 2023. It suits buyers after a five-seat, all-wheel-drive flagship with 536 hp and a claimed 625 km range, rather than a lower-priced electric sedan. Prices start from RM714,800.

For 2026, the G70 i7 receives a facelift rather than simply carrying over. Revised styling, increased range and Panoramic iDrive are part of the update. BMW quotes up to 708 km on the WLTP cycle and 250 kW DC fast charging for the facelifted i7. A 2027 development points to Rimac batteries, further range gains and faster charging, but that is not a 2026 specification.

The i7 has the fundamentals expected of an electric flagship: 536 hp, all-wheel drive and a claimed 625 km range in a five-seat luxury sedan. But it is expensive beside the RM648,888 EQS and RM649,888 AMG EQE, even if the RM798,888 AMG EQS costs more.
