Overview
The GWM Ora 07 is a C-segment electric sedan for buyers who want a larger-battery EV with a less common shape than the usual SUVs. Prices start from RM169,800 for the Long Range, with the Performance adding much more power. It suits drivers comparing electric sedans such as the Tesla Model 3, BYD Seal and Dongfeng 007.
For 2026, the Malaysian GWM Ora 07 sedan carries on unchanged, with no 2026-specific update announced. The range remains a two-variant line-up: Long Range and Performance, both using an 83.5 kWh battery and a single-ratio automatic transmission. The 2025 development is the Ora 07 Touring wagon debut at Shanghai, separate from the Malaysian sedan range.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should start with the Long Range at RM169,800. It has the same 83.5 kWh battery, five-seat layout and single-ratio automatic as the Performance, but gets the higher 640 km quoted range and 201 hp. Pay RM189,900 for the Performance only if you want the stronger 402 hp setup; its quoted range drops to 550 km. On paper, the RM20,100 gap buys performance, not more battery capacity.

across the range — availability varies by variant
The Ora 07 is not the cheapest route into an electric sedan. It costs more than the Tesla Model 3 from RM147,600, BYD Seal 6 from RM100,000 and Aion ES from RM106,800, while sitting close to the Dongfeng 007 and just below the BYD Seal. Its case rests on the 83.5 kWh battery, the long-range variant’s 640 km figure, and the six-year vehicle plus eight-year battery and electric motor warranties.

The Ora 07 Long Range is quoted at 640 km, while the Performance is quoted at 550 km. The Long Range is the distance-focused version; the Performance trades range for more power.
The GWM Ora 07 gets a six-year, 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year, 180,000 km warranty for the battery and electric motor.
