The Malaysian smart #5 range carries on into 2026 unchanged after its 2025 launch. The local line-up has two EV variants: Premium and Brabus, both with a 100 kWh battery and five seats. Premium is the range-focused version at 590 km WLTP, while Brabus cuts that to 540 km but raises output to 637 hp. The earlier Pro booking variant is not part of the launched range.

Most buyers should pick the Premium at RM199,800. It uses the same 100 kWh battery as the Brabus, has the longer quoted range at 590 km, and still makes 358 hp. The Brabus costs RM249,800, so the RM50,000 gap buys the higher-output 637 hp drivetrain and a shorter 540 km range. Pay more only if you want the Brabus performance; mechanically, the Premium is the easier everyday call.
