BMW Malaysia offers BMW Individual cars

BMW Malaysia is now offering more choice to BMW buyers in Malaysia now with it’s BMW Individual product range. Most of us know that in Malaysia we hardly get any choice in customizing the trim levels of our cars perhaps because of an inflexible production line designed to keep costs down. Well, if you can afford a certain few models from BMW, you can now do more than just choose what colour you want your interior to be.

Wolfgang Schlimme, Managing Director, BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd said, “Offering Choice and Availability is and has been our strategic direction in the Malaysian market since we established ourselves in 2003. Now, with the BMW Individual product range, we raise the benchmark a notch higher – allowing BMW owners to define their high performance, premium car to the highest degree of personal exclusivity.”

Choices as well as prices after the jump provided by BMW Malaysia’s PR agency.

These are special BMW Individual colours:

  • Ruby Black metallic and Azurite Black metallic which contains Xirallic® for iridescent glitter effect and extraordinary colour brilliance.
  • Moonstone metallic which contains Titanium Dioxide which generates light effect that changes colour between blue and white.
  • Diamond metallic: Variochrome® paint colour appears to “flip” dramatically between red and gold.
  • Blue Onyx metallic which contains black pigments that are larger, which makes for an elegant mirror-like effect.
  • Malachite Green metallic which contains a seemingly endless number of green hues, reminiscent of the malachite gemstone.
  • Midnight Blue metallic: Then pigments contained in this finish create an iridescent effect with a multitude of dark blue hues.

Of course, with a special exterior the car has to come with a special interior as well. BMW Individual cars feature Merino leather: soft with a pleasant velvety surface and offering the best seat comfort, Merino leather is derived from high quality wool which conveys a premium expression. The thick leather with great texture is only put through a gentle tanning process to enhance its natural characteristics. The interior’s colour are colour-matched with the colour of the leather as well as the trim that you choose. Some of the trims available are two optional fine wood trims of Walnut Amarone, which provides a sense of warmth with its dark ruby red colour as well as Piano Finish Black, which uses traditional piano lacquer technology to create a high-gloss surface to exude a contemporary classical look and feel, are made available.

The new BMW Individual compositions are only made available for select model variants namely the BMW Individual 750Li, BMW Individual 630i Coupe, BMW Individual Z4 3.0si Roadster and BMW Individual Z4 3.0si Coupe.

Aimed at customers who value individuality in their cars, the BMW Individual 750Li comes in the optional colours of either Carbon Black metallic or Stratus Grey metallic with choices of attractive BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery in Ecru Light and Gold Brown as well as BMW Individual interior trim finishers of Piano Finish Black or Ash Grain Dark.

They should offer more colors to their existing 3 series range, the current choice are all so gloomy.

A good move, you can bling out the exterior but nothing beats a driving cabin that feels personal.

its not surprising to see customisation offered to beemer owners. for a start, any form of customisation is going to be expensive, so its obvious that the expensive brands will be offering it.

i believe lexus has the same offer, but i dont know if a customer in malaysia can do it? anyone knows?

I wonder what kind of attention will a 745iL get with a combination of nice sleek black exterior and pink leather interior with snoopy motive?

Customization is a good idea. Customers especially those artistic ones can express more of themselves in their car. Malaysians will surely love it. Customizing on parts like its BMW headlight- http://www.aftermarketperformanceparts.com/bmw-he… -interior and exterior preferences, and in other parts will add style, confidence and more fun in driving. ;)
