Dacia reveals the Duster concept ahead of its Geneva debut!

Dacia’s first crossover concept; Duster has been revealed ahead of its Geneva debut, after releasing some teaser sketches couple of weeks ago. Measuring 4,250 mm in length, 1,640 mm in width, 1,495 mm in height as well as 2,804 mm in terms of wheelbase length, the Duster concept features a rear-hinged rear right door.

Up front, it is treated to a broad bumper with two horizontal air intake slits, head lights which wrap over the front wings, as well as a front grille featuring a rather evident Dacia logo. On the sides, it features tall doors with large wheel arches. The rear end showcases distinctive tail lights with wide trapezoidal aluminium exhaust tailpipes. The Duster’s roof is finished with a fully glazed glass.

On the inside, there is a two-tone chocolate and blue practical yet pleasing to the eye interior. The interior, apart from the futuristic design, also features a front passenger seat that can slide underneath the driver’s seat on rails concealed in the floor to offer an extra 2 cubic meters.

Sitting on the ground with large 5 spoke 21 inch wheels, it receives power from a 1.5 litre dCi engine that is able to deliver 105HP and at the same time, it consumes only 5.3 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometers traveled, as well as producing 139 grams of emissions per kilometer. Torque figure is rated at 240Nm at 2,000 revs while the Duster’s 0 – 100 km/h sprint performance is figured at 9.6 seconds. The dCi 105 power plant is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.     Dacia.. if I'm not mistaken in 70s are mostly rebadged renault..
