Detroit 2010: Cadillac CTS Coupe

Detroit 2010: Cadillac CTS Coupe

Other than the XTS concept, the usual fare of Cadillacs were there including the CTS Coupe, which has just had its CTS-V debut. Alot of North American media seem to like how the CTS Coupe looks like but I don’t know, blame regional tastebuds but despite the sharp clean lines it still just looks like a boxy hunk of metal with doors cut into the sides to me. Too much chrome and too much blank sheetmetal. Look for a live gallery after the jump or read more about the CTS-V.

Just wondering, how come we hardly see any Cadillacs in Malaysia? Our parallel importers can import RM0.5 – RM1 million Hummer and other exotic cars, but I never see a Cadillac in Malaysia.

we used to have a cadillac showroom in kelana jaya. the boss of ntv7 introduced cadillac in malaysia and held the ap's for those cars. they were being sold around rm 400k(back in 1996 before the asian financial crisis hence it was very expensive then. 400k can get u a bmw 740il those days.) other than that, the engines were like 5.0 litre engines and the heavy fuel consumption making it not very sell-able.
