Sebastien Loeb wins his seventh WRC World Championship

Sebastian Loeb who recently won the Rally de France has in effect secured his seventh World Rally Championship Title. He has now collected a total of 226 championship points making it impossible for the other drivers to play catch-up with two more races to go.

Citroen secured a one two finish with Loeb’s teammate Dani Sordo gaining the second fastest time. Sordo is only fifth in the Championship title, but this does mean that Citroen are winners of the manufacturers’ championship.

Thus the battle for 2nd and 3rd has commenced, with Sebastien Ogier currently in 2nd with 166 points and Jari-Matti Latvala in 3rd with 144. Kimi Raikkonen is 10th with a respectable 21 points. The two rallies left are the Spanish and the British leg of the Championship.

Are you sure this is not a joke? Ken Block had trouble even to score points this season, worse than Kimi.

Ken Block is merely a show drive and hardly a rally driver. Please don’t confuse yourself.

Yeah look at all the crashes that Ken Block had in this season…

We’d be lucky to have Loeb make a mistake (which he did, on rare occasions).

I’d say he’s not too bad at rallying, for an ex-gymnast.

It would’ve been a loss to WRC and racing if he had continued in gymnastics.

ken block is no where near to a wrc driver. He even lost to kimi in one indoor race previously. But i would say ken block is a good driver when it come to precision driving.

because ken block already mix up his driving skill with skate/snowboarding and motorcross skill.

Karamjit is an idiot who can’t even drive a Group A or even the S2000 cars. He can only drive Group N…. CNtimGine Karamjit driving a WRC spec car. He’d probably die doing so.

Dear Jarum, FYI Flying Singh at one time was offered a seat by Hyundai. During that time he sapu the APRC rally Group N kaw kaw. Guess what was his answer? No. He is a nationalist (although was spotted driving a black/red Evo7 years ago). And do u know how he struggle to keep his passion alive with all those financial difficulties? Even the kompeni minyak n kereta did not allocate sufficient fund for him. He is the unsung hero

u re an idiot actually …karamjit is a great driver ..i hv meet him in past few years and asking him about his future in APRC and WRC, his answer is simple “no sponsor”..since petronas stop the sponsorship to team EONPERT which couse the team die..so to his dream …even in Rally Malaysia he using the old car to fight with lastest machine n more funded team..so before u make a uneducated statement and people start to call u idiot, make a stdy 1st

He is one of motorsports winning legends, on par with Schumi and Rossi.

why the f1 driver can come dan compete to rally easily but when rally driver want compete in Formula one.. thye no have chances.. exmple loeb. i think f1 sometimes was boring race.. no chance to driver celebrate their victory with fan like motogp. cannot burnout.. after cheurqed flag come thru to garage.. thats why rossi called f1 is boring..
