Scandinavian electric vehicle manufacturer Think, which just rolled out its 2,500th City pure electric vehicle from Valmet Automotive’s plant in Finland, is gearing up for its arrival on American shores at the end of the year.
The company has started preparations to build the sturdy and reliable two-seat commuter – with a top speed of 112 kph and an operating range of 160 km on a single charge – at a plant in Elkhart, Indiana and plans to launch fleet and retail sales in the US in December.
Currently, the Think City is in its second production version guise, but a third version is scheduled to be produced in the US and enter the market in late 2012.

I would buy one anytime if the price is similar to a Viva. A range of more than 100Km is more than enough for me and my wife’s daily use. We are retired and will use it for morning walk, going to market, coffee shop, bank, badminton court or going line dancing. Remember Kuching is a small place. Not too sure if it is ideal for folks in KL. But I sure most other cities or towns would be perfect too. Now if only those darn batteries could be produced cheaply.
Cant help thinking why this company did it with a success..
maybe EMAS is better there
looks like a chevrolet spark for me..
btw, do you have any news related with the new family of the Prius Paul?
