Chevrolet has released a teaser image of its Colorado show truck, which will make its world debut at the 32nd Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand later this month. The show vehicle will preview the next-generation Colorado midsize pickup truck, which the company says will build on the brand’s strong truck DNA and award-winning heritage.
Thailand was chosen as the site of the global debut because of the popularity of pickup trucks and the growing importance of the Thai market to Chevrolet. In 2010, the pickup truck segment accounted for 43% of vehicles sold in Thailand. The new Colorado will go on sale there later this year.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
The teaser image looks good. Hope the production model will look as close to the show truck as possible. And hope that Naza will bring it in to M’sia.
naza please bring it here later. colorado is a damn cool truck.
Why Naza?
In case you missed it, Naza is the new distributor for Chevrolet brand in Malaysia. Look like Naza need to be more aggressive in promoting itself and Chevy.
because naza is chevrolet distributor in malaysia
because Naza is one of the biggest Automotive company and distributor. They even build our army Tank ;)
In Sarawak shall be Jimisar. As current Chevrolet Cruze and Captiva are under them.
Chevrolet’s truck is awesome! nicely design exterior~
General Motors’ trucks (including Chevy Colorado and Silverado) are very cool, yet also including Holden HSV Maloo, the FASTEST TRUCK in the world.
Holden HSV Maloo is not a truck, it is a coupe utility vehicle like the proton arena.
Coupe utility vehicle is a sporty truck based on passenger cars. Differenating from regular pickup trucks, these combines the sporty line of a sports vehicle and the utility of a truck. Examples of the coupe utilitiy is Holden Ute and HSV Maloo (whose are based on Holden Commodore), Ford Falcon ute (based on Ford Falcon), and Chevrolet SSR.
It is an Isuzu Dmax in disguise, I think (at least the engine)
Please also bring the Colorado and Silverado trucks to Singapore, and make them available there.
Yeah, Holden HSV Maloo is also available there. Bring Colorado and Silverado to Singapore to expand GM truck business to beat off Mitsubishi Tritons, Toyota Hiluxes and Isuzu D-MAXes.
