Set aside sensibilities like practicality and emissions regulations for a moment and see what happens when you really bring together the purest forms of ‘Motion and Emotion’ in a car. Peugeot has done just that with its striking Urban Crossover Concept, displayed for the first time at Auto China 2012.
At 4.14 metres long and 1.74 metres wide, the Urban Crossover is a compact vehicle designed for city driving. It shares the same platform as Peugeot’s 208 supermini, and targets the competitive European B-segment.
Penned by Peugeot’s studios in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paulo, it is mainly a styling exercise to showcase how future Peugeots might look like. If this looker is anything to go by, we say bring it on!

like the design, as well as the showgirl….
I like the most the one in blue.
sportage…
like the showgirl, as well as design…
so envy the china man, all latest model launch there first! it is simple due to there hv reasonably tax system.
I think it is more due to the size of the market available there (and their increasing purchasing power).
Either the showgirl is really tall or the SUV is kind of low. Or it may be just the optical illusion. Anyway, there are some very nice design cues there. Hope it can make into production soon.
you’re right. that girl looks awfully tall to be standing next to an SUV. but i remember also during the last kl motor show where great wall brought in their girls from china to stand next to their cars, they were super tall too! made our local girls look a little vertically challenged.
SUV? What SUV?
come on guys…really!
who bothers with the showgirl when a peugeot model is on display? :)
the pug model is not a real production car, so why bother? while the lady is real! but again, i might be wrong since i didn’t bother to read the story…hahaha (cant take my eyes off her)
the top looks like a ribbon wanting to be slowly pulled
