It’s definitely a very busy September for Peugeot – not only has the French automaker introduced the 208 GTI and 208 XY this month, but a sterling line-up for Paris is already expected, in the form of the facelifted RCZ, RCZ R, 208 Type R5, 2008 Concept and Onyx supercar concept.
Seems that isn’t enough for the Pug boys, because a special edition of the 3008 crossover is the next to join the party in Paris. The Peugeot 3008 Napapijri, as it’s called, is a combined effort by the automaker and sportswear brand Napapijri (the name is Finnish for Artic Polar Circle).
Encapsulating the spirit of travel, discovery and adventure, the 3008 Napapijri is fitted exclusively with exterior badges, door sills, mats and a steering wheel badge bearing the Napapijri logo. The seats also have Napapijri imprinted in the centre of the seat, and the wheel rims are also personalised.
The edition will be available with three engine options, these being 1.6 HDi 112 hp FAP, 1.6 e-HDi FAP 112 hp and 2.0 HDi FAP, and will have four exterior colour choices – Black Pearl, Pearl White, Rich Oak and Vapour Grey. Kit will include what’s called an ‘Adventure Pack,’ as well as an innovative 360° communication system jointly developed by the two brands.

Non-luxury brand trying to squeeze out average-people’s money by fitting non-technical accessories; understandable if it is targeting the rich people looking for aesthetic luxury fittings.
the names are not very representing the brand..except if your are from artic.
toyota should come out with vios napapijri, too
somehow, we don;t get special editions… maybe the 207sv can be called a special edition but that’s it. even other brands do not bother much.
