Here’s some easy weekend viewing. BMW has released a promo clip for the newly facelifted 5-Series range, consisting of the F10 Sedan, the F11 Touring and the F07 Gran Turismo.
Among the new features that the facelifted 5-Series range gets include revised headlamp and taillamp designs including the option for Adaptive LED Headlights, LED fog lamps, wing mirror mounted side indicators, improved storage area and cupholders, and a new iDrive controller with a touch sensitive surface.
For a recap on what the facelifted 5-Series is all about, and to check out a large hi-res gallery of the range, see our previous story.

It’s great car with a lot of features. Sadly, when it arrive in Malaysia most of its interesting features will be omit from the spec. Same goes to MB. I guess these distributors took triple digit margin.
Still think this is better than the current W212 E class.
I hope they optimize the air intake position to make it more robust to water intrusion. We have seen many UDM die during heavy rain and flash flood.
That traffic jam assist (where the car automatically drives itself – brakes, throttle, steering) looks good. I want!! At least can sleep in the car during morning rush hour – no need for a driver. Haha. But I can imagine how jerky it might be for Malaysian roads, considering how expertly Malaysians (cars, motorcycles) zig-zag in between lanes at the last minute.
Did the 5 series had adaptive xenons? I know the E class did n so does the C class but the 3 series did not have it.
Lets not mention about the sound system too…
