The compact hatchback may be the European car of choice, but everyone needs their workhorses. And when it comes to one-tonne pick-up trucks, the Toyota Hilux is the default choice, whether as a rugged ute in Australia or a low rider with cargo twice its height in Thailand. Success doesn’t come overnight – its reputation has been bulit over 46 years, with sales now totalling around 15 million units.
Today, lifestyle sales are of growing importance to the pick-up market. In Europe, of the current DLX, DLX+, SR and SR+ Hilux variants, the range-topping SR+ versions represent over 40% of the mix in many leading markets. And in recognition of the pick-up’s role to dual-usage customers, the European Hilux line-up is being extended to include a new range topping ‘Invincible’ grade.
Available in Extra Cab or Double Cab form, the Invincible Active features a silver front underguard, chrome air-intake, fog lamp and rear lamp bezels, and ‘Invincible’ door badging. The new all black interior features matching black fabric seats, a soft padded armrest, a leather handbrake, light grey roof lining and ‘Invincible’ scuff plates.
The Hilux Invincible Sport adds chrome hi-bars, and the optional availability of a new hard-top, chrome side bars, new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and full leather seats in black.
The Hilux Invincble is available in eight exterior body colours, including this hero blue shade, and with a choice of four powertrains: 2.5 litre D-4D engine with manual transmission and either 2WD or 4WD, or a 3.0 litre D-4D unit with manual or automatic transmission and 4WD.

I still prefer fabric seat. It’s grip my body much better than leather seat. When I sat in a Volvo or Mercedes and even Camry, I keep sliding from a side to another.
you wear cheap fabric, that’s why

Indeed invincible… as proven by top gear
just realise that Toyota Malaysia never introduces any Special Editions of Hilux at all.. compared to Triton or D-Max… the original Hilux is powerful enough to support the local market like a boss!
