Maybank has been appointed as the official financier of the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2013. KLIMS13, organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), will take place from November-15-24 at the Putra World Trade Centre. Earlier in the month, AirAsia was appointed as official airline for the show.
The announcement was made at a signing ceremony with Maybank and Volkswagen Group Malaysia yesterday. Volkswagen Malaysia is sponsoring a Beetle 2.0 TSI for one of Maybank’s lucky customers visiting KLIMS13. The company is set to display 19 vehicles at its 1,100 sq metre booth, the largest single brand display at the show.
The partnership with Maybank as the Official Financier include an allocation of complimentary tickets for selected Maybank customers as well as Maybankard and Amex cardholders to visit the show. Maybank will be of course offering KLIMS13 visitors a suite of attractive financing packages and services.
With the theme “Efficiency in Motion” the organiser is encouraging KLIMS13 exhibitors to showcase cutting edge vehicles that support fuel efficiency and stringent emission standards amidst new launches, concept cars and performance cars, according to MAA.

again PWTC..why not change to a bigger and better venue…PWTC is just not big space enough…and not enough parking….and the last time,i think there is very less automobile company that participate on this kl motorshow,maybe due to the not attractive venue..haiz,i dont think i will visit this motorshow this year….

With the theme “Efficiency in Motion” should be a good patform to introduce emissions or fuel consumption based road tax structure to replace the archaic engine size system.
lets stand united and choose not to participate in this motorshow to show our protest against ridiculous high car tax and sub service center for the Malaysian car industries.
KLIMS 2013 is goina be another failure like last year.. the best i went to was KLIMS 2006. other than that, our organizer dont bring in supercar or special concepts from other brands. Instead, it only allow a few of the brand which has connection with the G to be able to show their car.. Boring…. No hot cars and girls..
