Range Rover Evoque Black Label Edition by Kahn

The Range Rover Evoque has been a hit, thanks to concept car styling and the name, but just like every successful product, it’s starting to become ubiquitous, even in KL. Now here’s an Evoque that will stand out from the rest, the Range Rover Evoque Black Label Edition (RS250) by A. Kahn Design.

Up front, there’s a front grille with 3D mesh, front bumper centre section graphic in matte black, front bumper mesh in matte black and silver and LED daytime running lights for the front bumper. Other touches include side sill trim in gloss black, side vent inserts in copper, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, painted floating roof and brake calipers finished in Vesuvius orange. The body colour is Santorini Black Metallic.

Kahn’s RS250 Evoque features the UK tuner’s “cross hair exhaust system” which it said to be a first cousin only to silence and manners. Those matte pearl 22-inch wheels look good, but how does the Evoque cope with such big rims? Not sure about the ride, but Kahn says that grip and body control are improved over the standard car.

Inside, the front and rear seats are wrapped in quilted and perforated leather, while the transmission tunnel is covered in Alcantara with contrast stitching. Hide in the same pattern is found everywhere else in the cabin, but Kahn has a full customisation programme for the interior to suit your fancy. Nice job, Mr. Afzal Kahn.

The Evoque has been technically updated for the model year 2014, with a new ZF nine-speed automatic gearbox topping the list of improvements. You can read all about the SUV here.
