BMW, or specifically its 2 Series product department, has been busy for the past few months preparing for an upcoming video starring the current range-topping 326 hp and 450 Nm BMW M235i. Current, because the BMW M2 is in the works and will likely make a debut in 2015 or 2016.

This video, called the BMW 2 Series Driftmob, highlights the fun-to-drive aspects of the coupe, which Munich considers as the most driver-focused car it has to offer aside from its high-performance M division offerings. A total of five cars will be featured in the video, driven by well-known faces in motor racing including Rhys Millen, Rich Rutherford, Samuel Hubinette, Conrad Grunewald and Daijiro Yoshihara.

In the shoot, all five cars go through a stunt sequence, spearheaded by stuntman Riley Harper, who along with the drivers named above has worked on famous driving scenes in blockbuster films such as The Fast & The Furious franchise, Iron Man as well as The Dark Knight Rises, with The Fast & The Furious 7 being his latest project.

The video, which has Mic Rodgers in the director’s seat, is expected to make its official debut in about a month’s time. For now, check out some of our live photos on location from the just-concluded shoot in Cape Town, South Africa.

All BMWs look the same, hard to differentiate one from another. And BMW is THE ONLY ONE car manufacturer still giving ONLY TWO year warranty for their cars. I wonder why is this so.
