LDP road closures in January 2015 due to Ampang LRT Line Extension project – motorists take note!

Heads up to all users of the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) – there will be several road closures at kilometres 20-21 north-bound of the highway due to construction of the Ampang LRT Line Extension Project. The roads will be closed to accommodate the launching of segmental box girders.

The following roads will be closed from January 15-31, 2015, according to MyRapid’s website:

1. Temporary closure from 12.00am to 6.00am at the slip road from Bandar Puchong Jaya to Bandar Sunway and two left lanes from Bandar Puchong Jaya to Old Klang Road.

2. Motorists from Bandar Puchong Jaya to Bandar Sunway will be guided to use the alternative route via the ramp/elevated highway towards Bandar Sunway while motorists from Bandar Puchong Jaya can still use the remaining one lane to Old Klang Road.

    How will people from Puchong direction go towards the Kia showroom & service centre there? Just wondering. Probably have to go straight into Jln Puchong Lama, and u turn to come back towards Puchong then turn right at the traffic lights?

      from the article above it is stated that it is a “temporary closure from 12.00am to 6.00am”.. do people go and visit kia showroom malam2 buta kah..?

      take the ramp to bandar sunway then into jalan rajawali (Near the air-cond shop)

      Hello, this is NOT MRT. It’s LRT extension from bukit jalil to putra height. MRT is from Sungai Buloh to Kajang. Who’s the moron here?

    The slip road is ok lah – when they close the ramp, then people will suffer a lot.

    I believe that before long they will have to close the ramp to complete that section of the LRT line. The LRT line passes just meters above the ramp.
