What comes after the coupe SUV? Why, the cabriolet SUV of course! It looks like the Range Rover Evoque Convertible concept shown in 2012 will make it to production after all.
It won’t be the first of its kind to go to market of course – that honour goes to the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet, although that one bombed in terms of sales numbers and was discontinued when the new Murano came out. Will the Range Rover Evoque Convertible do better?
Looks-wise, the Evoque Convertible looks pretty much like the Geneva 2012 concept without much lost in translation. It will probably be available only in three-door guise. The prototype we see here has its soft top up, like any sane person would have it during cold weather testing.
