We’ve stumbled upon this facelifted Citroën DS3 currently on display at the Glenmarie showroom, which indicates that it will be launched sometime soon. We have yet to receive any real information about the updated premium hatch such as specs or prices, but we have shot a full high-res gallery for your perusal.
Introduced in May last year, the DS3 now gets xenon headlights with striking LED modules (as seen on the Numero 9 and Wild Rubis concepts), as well as sequential indicators. In other markets, diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels have been made available as option, but our car keeps the same “Bellone” wheels as before.
Inside, the black “Mistral Claudia” leather upholstery and piano black dashboard trim are retained, but the DS3 now receives a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system (previously seen on the DS3 Racing), hooked up to a new rear-view camera.
One more addition concerns safety – this Malaysian-market car gets the new Active City Brake system that operates at speeds up to 32 km/h. Elsewhere, six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist as well as stability control are all unchanged from before.
The mechanicals should remain the same – if that’s the case, a 1.6 litre naturally-aspirated Prince four-pot would send 120 hp and 160 Nm of torque through a four-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels, the same setup as on the Peugeot 208 VTi.

Hopefully more kit for the same price…the FL looks better than the pre FL too
the touchscreen MMI just made the car much better in terms of bang for the buck
