  • Hmm … now – if only they would do a proper job of re-surfacing the roads.. meaning stripping the existing tarmacadam off before they resurface – rather than merely pasting another layer over and causing more potholes caused by dropped manholes and service covers, and then having to redo them as well as the pavement kerbs when they eventually drop lower than the road level!!

Then 6 months down the line – they will dig up trenches for re-laying pipes or conduits, making a mess because they don’t know where the services are (not mapped out properly, like say in Singapore) and not properly patching them up after…. then we’re back to square one! Pity we have such third world attitudes….sigh..

    • HI,Ur view is exactly correct..hmm,if only this can be shared to any MPs to bring up to Parliment to debate, may be we can see some light of it.the resurfacing by pasting on top is not just cause ugly sight but also posses danger. At a underpass at jalan tun razak near Southgate, we suspected the height of the underpass shortened. We saw some big scratch possible some big trailer pass by.a very near miss incident that could cause the road on top to collapse.
