These are reportedly the first images of the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster, resplendent in a Blu Glauco finish – the photos of the example are the work of automotive photographer Jordan Shiraki, who posted the photos on his website.
He goes on to state that Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed (at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed) the automaker will be producing the Aventador Superveloce Roadster, and that just 500 units are to be built, a hundred less than the coupe version, which made its debut in Geneva back in March.
Overall specifications are identical to the coupe, which means the roadster will get the same 750 hp at 8,400 rpm and 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm output running off its 6.5 litre V12, as well as a similar 0-100 km/h sprint time of 2.8 seconds and 350+ km/h top whack.
The only difference will be a slight weight gain of 50 kg for the roadster – the car tips the scales at 1,575 kg in comparison to the coupe’s 1,525 kg. This essentially puts back all the kilos shed from its mass for the coupe, achieved through enhanced lightweight engineering and an increased use of carbon fibre. Still, with the performance specs remaining as is there shouldn’t be any complaints from buyers.

For a brand like Lamborghini and a model like the Aventador. how is 500 units ‘limited’?
Limited to only first 500 hundred buyer. With deep pocket of course. As long as it not exceed 500 unit for the certain model, it still called LIMITED. Just dont compare with mass product which is no limit.
