VIDEO: Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe gets detailed and showcases what it does best sideways on the track

Mercedes-Benz have produced a walk-around video of its new Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe – essentially the same ingredients in the C 63 S sedan but in a sexier coupe body.

Outside, the coupe is fitted with wider wheels and high-performance composite ceramic brakes, which gives it greater braking distance it is said. For those of you who are wondering, the signature white paint that we suspect we’ll be seeing more often on Mercedes-AMG cars is called the Designo Diamond White Bright.

Inside, the C 63 S Coupe is detailed, classy as ever; it receives a performance steering wheel, AMG-tagged performance seats while the instrument cluster gets a coloured multifunction display, the presenter also takes the liberty to show us how the Performance exhaust system is activated – just look at his cheeky face.

Interesting to note is that Mercedes-Benz claims that the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe has the most economical V8 in its class. On paper, the German automaker states that the top-range Mercedes-AMG C 63 S is able to achieve consumption figures ranging from 8.6 to 8.9 litres per 100 km on the NEDC cycle.

One thing that has to be said, despite having the legendary naturally-aspirated 6.2 litre V12 engine that’s known for its exquisite growl, the 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine in this superstar coupe, sounds pretty darn good too, credits also goes to those quad exhaust tips and most probably the optional Performance exhaust system (yes, yes we know, but it’s been turbocharged).

Now, with all the technical bits aside Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe, why not pleasure yourself (visually, of course) with a video of Affalterbach’s latest engineering masterpiece. Take note that one has to continuously repeat the video though, because the new coupe is so fast that it ends in just under one minute.
