It appears that the Honda City will not be the only model to receive a price hike. A local Honda dealer has posted price lists of every model that is offered by Honda Malaysia, and it seems they will experience the same fate as well come January 1, 2016.
This includes the Honda Accord, City, Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Jazz and Odyssey, where prices look set to go up by up to RM6,964. The prices (on-the-road with insurance) of Honda Malaysia vehicles from January 1, 2016 onwards are summarised in the table above.
As you can see, every variant of every model offered by Honda Malaysia (except the Civic Hybrid and CR-Z) will be priced higher than before (up to 2.85%). One interesting to note is the Honda Odyssey that appears to lose its entry-level 2.4 EX variant next year.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Solution is buy on CNY or Hari Raya promotions. Dnt buy as soon as they hike price.v must condem this price hike.here prices r really sky Hi
Another solution wait for facelift but pre-facelift. Yet again reduce max 0.9% but increase start at 2% above. Some says DRB-HICOM better??
Another solution is to buy from Discount King Toyota lo, if you don’t mind ancient tech..
Looking forward 10K off from the Vios tag
Even 10k discount , still dont wanna dinosaur 4 speeder VIOS.
For those who dont mind the second hand car smell,BY ALL MEANS buy preowned or used cars.
Even if you buy a new Honda, tomorrow it is considered pre owned. The only plus point is virtually no repairs for the first 20 months,if you take extreme care. But still you have to go for their regular services.
New Car prices in Bolehland are too HIGH.
Buy only during very special promotions or else choose from the 500,000 used cars available in the internet.
Remember, those who can afford Honda new cars are unlikely to get BRIM from gomen.Dont buy blindly and end up servicing loans to the BRIM!!
If you can afford to own any new imported cars don’t bother to apply for thr BRIM it not yours right it belongs to the under-previlage
Ooh you totally missed the point didn’t you
agree. looking at the price given..might as well i wait for the 2nd hand unit. based on mudah, even 2014 unit depreciate around 10k (city).
Consider a used kimchi. 12 month old. Very dai mai
OMG…good job Honda…looking forward ur sales disaster coming next year…puihhh…
Cheaper cars…. NOT!
No problem if the prices raised by a few thousand RM. Honda can even raise to ten thousand RM, if they want.
The Malaysia Raykat will work for 2 jobs (or more) ….and then buy (already) expensive cars from Honda.
Maslan has 3.85 job, anda bila lagi?
Ahmad Maslan was blowing job … I mean blowing horns.
thanks to all of you for my fat bonus
Now, where is that ‘i love PM’ banner!
They can increase the Car price but our strategy is stop buying the car
u alone stop buying new cars aint gonna work
Stop buying houses too, especially those stupid overpriced studios. Slap the developers silly.
Wonderful way by the G to take care of the people, screw the currency exchange rate as one of the strategy to prevent more cars on the road and traffic jam. Next will be toll increase.
Work harder and get few more jobs to own a Lexus in the coming years.
To own a Lexus?? why should we? No RV anyway LOL
Lexus got the best reliability among luxury segments
Now everything’s going up. What is down? Rubber, palm oil, paddy and few basic daily food routine.
Hahaha….good job dear leader & congrats to all BN supporters fr being loyal
can’t wait till next General election
2.6 job is enough to cover anything and live happily…
Just like a lot of businesses in Malaysia, when the cost come down they maintain price but when cost goes up they increase price. Then blame Gov. Everyone belip. They winliaolor
Bcos the gov allows it to happen. Like toll, electricity, petrol etc. Cakap memang senang.
If Gov intervene, then its no longer free market. You might as well live in commie country or DAPland
You really don’t know anything the country management system… If petrol drop but gas price increase more and so on goods increase. Who to blame??? BN good???
Then your uber economics mind dunno how businesses is run in Malaysia. But of course this comes from someone that claims fire-causing power windows is less severe compared to power window failure.
At least explain where is DAPland and prove it is not free market. Else, you are blowing horns making up lies thinking you are smart but actually like an idiot.
Buy Toyoda the NEW Power of Dreams, Honda chg to Power of Nightmares
Price increase?? Dont buy la… at the end Honda Sales will drop..at last they will give kaw kaw discount to achieve their sales target and to release car from warehouse.
Dont buy when price increase.. Buy when they give at least 20% discount.
see what happened to Perodua… price increase about RM400..at the end, their sales drop. Padan Muka!!!
Ya loh. It’s very easy. Stop buying. Sometimes consumers in this country very funny. The more prices increase the more they buy.
When the launch date for the 2016 civic is near, sure got generous discount on existing civic. We can wait!
might as well u get the new civic dude..1.5 tubo
BOYCOTT Barang Naik
I sense used car dealer stock will sell better since new car price all hike, user tend to consider maintain existing car or change used car.
Just blaming is useless, we all should take action by stop buying Honda together, if this happen, I don’t think Honda dare to increase price.
Similarly, just blaming BN gov is useless, we all should take action and don’t vote for them during next GE.
apa diharapkan dkt bolehland ni
semua benda naik
tambang bas naik, tol naik, harga barang naik, tambang lrt komuter sume naik darah pon ikut naik oooo

terima kasih Baziran Nasional yg jadi KERA-jaan yang prihatin dgn masalah rakyat
someone should ludah those ‘bijak’ people with air sireh to make them even dumber
Now even worst coz MASLAN in MITI. Every Manufacturer got his nod to increase price.
Just 2 to 3k hike only. If u divide by 9yrs then every month only rm27.77. Come on lar, u can afford 90k car but cant take out extra 27 per month and less than dollar per day?? Then u dun deserve the power of the dream and serves u right to ride public transport for whole life
The thing is, even is the ringgit goes back to RM 3.5 per USD, the car prices won’t go back down
Honda city V.. -RM1346 post GST around April…now Jan 1st 2016 +RM2532.. gov and Honda pakat ka..sama2 untung.. consumer gt fooled :S
Honda pun sama kualiti jangan cakap bagus mana la kalau buat kat melaka tu….dgn spot point banyak yg no fussion…kalau honda dulu boleh la bangga dan berlagak sbb buat kat jepun…
