Previously teased, the Subaru Levorg STI Sport has been officially introduced by the Japanese automaker. While its name may suggest that there are some performance upgrades, the wagon only receives an enhanced handling package and cosmetic extras.
Among the key features include Bilstein DampMatic II shock absorbers at the front, along with updated springs and a retuned suspension. The Levorg STI Sport comes with a sharper front bumper, a different grille design and a set of 18-inch wheels.
Colour-wise, the Levorg can be specified in WR Blue Pearl. Inside, customers can choose to have a Bordeaux red leather interior accompanied with black trim. To make it look the part, the interior also features STI logos on the headrests, steering wheel and side sill plates.
As for power, no changes here, so potential owners can go with either a 168 hp turbocharged 1.6 litre boxer engine or a 296 hp turbocharged 2.0 litre mill. Both are paired to a CVT gearbox that sends power to all four wheels (Subaru Symmetric All-Wheel Drive).
The Subaru Levorg will be launched in Malaysia in the middle of this year, which is soon. It’s expected to miss out on the 2.0 litre engine, but instead, it will reportedly be offered with the 1.6 litre Direct Injection Turbo flat-four petrol mill with 168 hp and 250 Nm of torque, mated to Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT transmission.

Org dah lama pakai turbo and somemore in WRC. Mana boleh compare with P1 that started using in CFE. Somemore boxer engine have higher power limit compared to in line. So why not u compare this to Porsche boxer engine too? Topkek.

Best of Japanese engineering..wish could have one of this..although my xv sti is so far so good…a bit underpower, but FC is damn good..handling and cornering is superb..

mr lakonan, i have plenty of cars including subaru xv and manual saga. That saga can accelerate fast but never beat subaru.
