Volvo S90 and V90 get R-Design exterior option

The Volvo S90 sedan with its V90 wagon sibling has been given the R-Design touch along with the performance brand’s signature blue paint.

The R-Design exterior sports a new front-end design with spoiler-integrated fog lamps, a unique grille, and piano black trim on the front and rear. Wheels are a five-spoke matte black diamond-cut design.

On the interior, the R-Design look includes unique deco trim, pedals and mats, an illumination package, sporty contour seats and a special steering wheel.

Too pretty. Too bad Volvo Cars Malaysia insists on bringing in Inscription trim only.

If only the 1000 over engineers in Proton can design a beauty like this.

But all they can do is rebadge. That is heights of engineering.

hello. excuse me, this is no hearse. Mercedes benz can be a hearse, for Volvo, its too sexy to be a hearse.

It looks American to me. Something different than Germans, but still stunningly good in my book.

Boxy is not bad, Volvo of old times were always known to be boxy, yet good looking to its fans.

Boxy is outdated design. Only old pipu say it is stunning

Nearly every international media likes the S90 n V90 design, and that’s coming from people whose main job is to look at a lot of cars.

If it can’t win you, so be it. True, Volvo can’t please everyone, but they do please those who matter to them.

    Our perdana look much better.

    • I agree. The taillights of Perdana are curvy similar to Jaguar whereas this has boxy taillights and exhaust pipes

the front is awesome but the rear looks a bit LEGO but it may grow on us later. anyway these are beyond reach of most Malaysians. they always have been.
