Jiangling Landwind X6 Crash Test – Outside View

Jiangling Motors Corporations Landwind X6 four wheel drive crash test video as recorded by Germany’s ADAC which conducts tests for Euro NCAP safety standards.

This video was recorded from a side profile view of the crash test.

Times Online reports the crash test was conducted with 2 tests, a frontal 40mph (64 km/h) crash test and a side collision at 30mph (50 km/h).

The testers calculated that the driver would likely not survive the 64 km/h frontal collision, and the side collision would result in severe chest and neck injuries.

Click here for a video recording of the crash test recorded inside the passenger cabin.

  • i always thought this kind of vehicle very safe (for the driver and passengers that is..)…and at just 64km/h and 50 km/h..you must be kidding me!

    even, with our protons we easily drive 100km/h and that in town driving!

    please think everybody….not that i'm not driving fast anymore after this..live life to the fullest, speed is king!

    Paul: bro, this POS (Piece Of Shit) is supposed to compete against the Land Rover?! well, ya ha HAAAAAA ha!!!! I think if you dropped the Land Rover's emblem on the POS's roof, the roof will cave in!

    I think I have figured out the lack of quality in all of China's cars la… The govt. is using the automobiles as a form of population control! Think about it; in one of these POS's, you can wipe out a whole family of five or more! :P

    I have a friend who is so scared of SAGA rear-end. He has 'sondol'ed SAGA twice with his Satria and once with Mitsubishi Delica. All the crashes only left the SAGAs with minor scratches and 'lekuk sikit la'. But his car, had to be towed. Luckily his Delica is similarly tough. But still, he had to replace the bumper and do some bodywork while the SAGA escaped 'uninjured'.

    He call himself 'SAGAphobic'. Never tailgate too close to a SAGA. You've been warn! Hehehe.

    But seriously , whoever said that was a pass on the TUV's must be immortal. Try sitting inside it man , the steering wheel would have crashed me..

    No way am I gonna buy this man. Not a chance.

    LmaO!!!

    Yo, that crash got knocked the FUCK out!!!

    Here's how it went:

    40mph collision;

    Front bumper lip cracks, then totally messes up;

    The whole front of the body is messed up!;

    The colliding object goes through the engine WTF?;

    The colliding object goes through the dashboard, into the dummy.

    LmaO… Hilarious stunt 'Landwind'.

    This Jiangling guy needs to stop using cheap material, Foil 'ey???!, and start using real frame metal…

    I see what it was…

    It's all bad framework.

    Next to the bad material used in the frames.

    Wow! That's actually worse than a Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you want to run the Chinese auto industry out of business before they really get rolling, sell some of those in the US. Tort lawyers would have a field day with that tin can.

    There are only 1-1.2 Billion people in china, not 2.

    If the car crumples so badly from a low speed colision, imagine 60-70mph instead of a 40mph.

    How did the engine crumple so badly though, never heard of that before

    Looks to me like a frontera dashboard and not a landwind.

    all the same i don't get in my car in the morning intending to die. yes it is old tech but so was the daewoo so be happy for a cheap luxury 4×4 and with the isuzu engine this will be a go anywhere vehicle (in recent snow i was towing Discos out with a frontera which is an isuzu for the most of you). Finally, if you in the wrong place wrong time you die no matter how safe the vehicle
