Comments express disappointment with Proton's so-called concept cars, claiming they are merely modified versions of existing models with cosmetic changes. Many criticize Proton for lacking truly innovative or new designs, instead presenting what they label as "facelifts" or "touch-ups." There's a perception that Proton is being overly secretive about upcoming models, comparing it unfavorably to industry standards. Some users appreciate certain design elements like the Neo Desire interior or the Neo Symphony, but overall, the sentiment leans toward frustration with Proton’s approach, viewing their concept cars as unoriginal and not representative of real concept innovation. The comments also highlight a desire for Proton to showcase genuine new models and technologies rather than rebranding modifications.
