no new technology, always put up after-market accessories and intro as facelift la, special edition la, limited edition la, sport edition la and bla bla bla… national car makers are bs
yup, nothing new..always put special la,limited la..the fact is,we can see it everywhere..initially they said, only produce 5000,then another 5000,and atlast 5000 units on the road..what is so limited @ special here?
They always do cosmetic only. sama la 2×5 Perodua or Proton. Nothing upgrade with engine/transmission/etc. Then people ask Ah Beng to do the job. Lastly, you get caught by JPJ during roadblock.
Pleez la, produce hybrid engine or something like type r mugen, totaly different!
This is the last edition of Myvi before new Myvi (Myvi replacement model) roll out in 2011. The Myvi replacement model will be offer new 1.5cc engine same as upcoming Perodua Alza.

Boring country
if boring get out of this country or just by civic hybrid if you say no hybrid car in this country.
if you all didnt like this but i also x suka myvi and all other p2 car…but dont just blame them because the car sucks….we just started this industry so takes time to improve…..but this myvi ee suck
hurm, mid life facelift done, followed by this editions… mpv coming soon next month… malaysian got bored easily, better have them butter layered myvi or myvi w/o bumper or with extremely weight cut thru taking out doors, hatch door, bonnet, engine and everything… then they'll shut up…
Paul, did you feel guilty when adding the above into your blog?
Paul Tan says: I did not write this. I was in a plane back from Tokyo and just got back. A writer who was helping me out added these pix for me. Frankly I do not agree with the news agency kind of writeup style. I've edited the post.
i think the volume of purchasing of these gathering lower so Perodua change a bit to improve the selling but hopeless. It will not wait untill 8 years 2 more years will be changing as the volume going down.
if like that better goto local shop and modify it. It might only Limited 1 in Malaysia. Saw 1 myvi put a biglove on the front bumper in penang…special and limited. haha!
wah so exclusive the myvi exactly look like the normal one ,but look at the bright side every myvi can change the chrome handle n side skirt n become exclusive haha.went to the showroom to see just now but cannot distinguish the diff so drive thru thinking too exclusive so not every showroom have it haha.I though from the name would be some vip inspired myvi.
yeap, nothing absolutely nothing. very disappointed. nothing on the engine, leather seat i could have it done for rm200, extra touch up on the sides of the doors, for about rm100, player looks horrible, what else….?
if it has a engine upgrade and made it an exclusive, then thumbs up.
I hate to say this but perodua is following old management of p1…

Well , getting out of the country, wont solve the problem that lamer and lamer product are being produced locally….. That is why talented ppl would migrate… and the gov keeps on scratching their head in trying to attract them back… :S
aku rase kiata kne start boikot p2 la…mkin lme mkin teruk j p2 nie. xabes2 nk ceduk model toyota n daihatsu. p2 nie bukn lagi kereta nasional daihatsu n toyota da jd pmegang tbsar p2… xde pape ley dbagga kn dgn p2 lg hahhahaha… kereta import cop lain (cam naza)
the exclusive edition doesnt comes with exclusivity.. thought it might have individual plaque tracking its limited production numbers with specially design bodykit such as the boon x4 etc..

Jika dilihat sekarang, semua model produa material kereta 'tin milo', situasi sama berlaku semasa Proton Mitsubishi JV, semua orang komen enjin ok tapi body 'tin milo'. Nampak gaya satu hari kelak, produa juga akan mengalami kerugian besar.
Teruskan buat 'tin milo' untuk rakyat malaysia yang bijak memilih.
Black (semi?)leather in sunny Malaysia, yeah great just as long as its kept under the shade. Right, that was informative and amusing. We are ready for the clincher now.
What people don't understand is that Perodua is trying to bore us to death with bland awful advertising in anticipation for their MPV release next month. What it does is to build up the anxiety in the market. When the new model comes out, we'll say, "Wah! So refreshing than the Myvi!!! Don't care if its more expensive, its got bigger space what! Wah Perodua very good lah!". Kerrrchinnggg!!!!
Sigh. Times like this i feel sad. All i can afford is a national can whose maintainance, mainly due to shoody design and parts, is bleeding me dry. And my old secondary school mate who just started his first entry level full time job in Australia can afford to drive a Golf GTi.
This is a Malaysian car so this is what a Malaysian car should looks like… Most Malaysian seems to love something that is not so value for money and so-called Japanese related… Most people are willing to pay more for less as long as it is related to Toyota…Pathetic though…
national car maker..pls la wei. this so called limited edition..special edition should be stopped.the reason my family use p2 and p1 because we have no choice. my dad use p1 v6 because 'Tun' want ipt ppl were given p1 instead of volvo or merc as their official car(it's govt car). my mom use p2 because my dad feels that the price of jap car is expensive..more expensive after the bank loan.
p/s- i think this limited edition should replace the high line variant.
This is that time again when our local car manufacturer produced something up, it will be flourished by a negative comments from someone who think they good at something or know everything..
I'll bet if those kura-kura SAVY were pure JDM, made by Mitsubishi, Honda or whatever, and tuned by Mugen or TRD or something, I swear some of you here going to be heretic and worship it as GOD..
But what can I say. It's local made.. And it's always be bad. But I wonder, why so many of these car on the road, plus and the clubs, the gathering/TT's and some international awards they received?
It's our mentality.. And if anybody ever found a any consumer car that made other then 'Tin Milo' like Titanium, Gold or High Carbon Steel or something.. Pleaase I buy it..
I apologize for that but this learning process is necessary for the site to be kept updated whenever I am unable to access it on manufacturer-organised test drives, etc. I was in Japan for a Honda Insight test drive.
a rose by any other name still smells the same, in this case its a Myvi by any other edition is still the same Myvi…….*to Perodua marketing* take note of the irony…..
if menyampah pun no different.still terpaksa bila kete malaysia sebab murah.klau ada duit lebih sikit boleh la beli toyota.x pun tunggu lah TATA nano masuk malaysia.sebaiknya beli basikal je.park kat LRT sudah
Yup, Perodua so-called MPV. It's not MPV anyway, it's a 5 seater plus with cardboard that can be use as a seat at back row. For me it is a Myvi wagon. This Myvi wagon, have same spec as Myvi excepts 1.5cc engine and puny tiny thin side impact bar on front door..Maybe it will sell like hotcakes because Malaysian can be easily cheated by good styling and Toyota brand inside it. By selling at 60k++, I think it's damn expensive and it should be 55k for high spec.
Lmao. "Exclusive Edition"? They just took the rims from the special edition, removed the black paint, and wallah, it's a 'different' rim. Then there's absolutely no change in the bumpers, headlamps, steering wheel, boot. Everything, cept for the radio, and from what I heard, PVC seats? Wow. Why not just bring the myvi you own to a workshop, ask them to paint the door handles chrome, inside handle also chrome, get the same RIMs, for less?
nak habis kan stok lama kot…. nak jual luar negara tak boleh terikat dgn kontrak.. sbb dah memang model ni kat luar dikenali "paso" dari toyota+daihatsu
Another lazy way of milking M'sian motorists by adding only useless accesories. Limited Edition my foot!..
I bet that most of us can mod their MyVi's much more better than this…
At least add remote control function on the steering wheel, add a center console, better engine power output, tweak the suspension, better speakers, better soundproofing, nicer sport rims..then only can market it as LIMITED EDITION…
@ RM51k, personally Persona from Proton is a better choice IMHO, but it's up to our own preference. I do admit K-car is better in big congested cities in terms of FC & manevourability.
I rather get a standard Myvi rather than this stupid LE. and better still I can mod it with my own preference with those extra RM5k. Hopefully the sales of this LE is not up to expectation, so that those stupid Execs @ Perodua will realise that M'sians are not stupid and not getting fooled by their marketing gimmick
COME ON LA DUDE…..DUN U PLAYIN WITH PEOPLES MONEY AGAIN LAAA

heran la aku..apesal DAIHATSU SIRION INDONESIA tu lebih cantik…lebih bagus..dan lebih hebat dari MYVI MALAYSIA pnyer? sedangkan pihak p2 malaysia sendiri yg wat keta tu ntuk di hantar ke sana…cuba korang tgk DAIHATSU SIRION INDONESIA..sebijik mcm keta MYVI MALAYSIA..coz P2 MALAYSIA yg buat..hmmm..
P1 & P2 again!!!! using the same old trick… to which good model, keep pushing & pushing the sales…until it flood the street~~~!!!
Can't P2 bring in another small car which Daihatsu (or Toyota) got? now malaysia is like many years back in China during that time which China has not 'open market' yet~~ buying a car is simply not much choice.. (but today in China, all the latest car, you can first seen on their mainland's road..) but of cos..we can't fight with China… becos we all know Chinese is hardworking & talented ..
back to P2, come on.. Myvi selling at 50k++…really. i get a second hand 5,6 years back Camry is much worth it…
come a 1.5 variant, HID head light, 2 din DVD HU….
additional 5k ppl will still buy, or redesign all the weakness points, seat arrangement, headlight and tail light, comeon, plastic and even metal mould is not so expensive, be more innovative… keep seeing the same thing for years and years, same like MCA, keep fighting for the same topic….
COME ON LA DUDE…..DUN U PLAYIN WITH PEOPLES MONEY AGAIN LAAA

anyhow… myvi still the best selling model in malaysia…
majority of the buyers of this car are female. i suspect around 70% as this is also the situation in most universities nowadays where only 30% are male. so more graduate are female, and they like the hello kitty looks of the car.
kerajaan perlu stop amik cukai kenderaan. xkan kerajaan nak bagi kite pakai kereta malaysia yang xde kualiti nih… kesian rakyat malaysia terpaksa beli keta malaysia yang xde kualiti. kalo kerajaan xamik cukai tinggi2 mesti da ramai yang pakai keta import. sedangkan porsche cayman s bole dapat dalam 150k tapi kat malaysia 600k. bayangkan cukai keta kerajaan amik melampau sangat
…tak abis2 buat lawak…jgn la perasan sgt model ni banyak sambutan…with the price tag about 51k..i dont wana place my self in stupid position…wake up P2..wake up//go out from the comfort zone…..
