As mentioned a couple of days ago, the launch of Petronas’ new PRIMAX 95 Xtra fuel is seeing a special Fuel Up promotional activity at Petronas stations, only for today.
This evening, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, the challenge is to fill up with the new Xtra in a designated amount, and there are three to choose from – RM30.95, RM50.95 (seems there’s a typo in the poster, which has the amount listed as RM59.95. Thanks to reader klx for pointing that out) and RM70.95. All you have to do is specify which amount you want to pay and fill with, and get it to that exact figure.
Get it right on the dot, and you’ll get an exclusive souvenir; you’ll need to show the original receipt with the correct designated amount to get your prize.

The poster itself has a typo – should be RM50.95 (RM30.95 , RM50.95 and RM70.95). Petronas folks have been informed but not sure if they can get it corrected in time.

the one i went to say the promo is for 3 months! not sure how true. $30.95 gets you a pen, $50.95 gets you a key chain and $70.95 gets you a fragrance thingy.
My local Petronas, the one next to the KDU campus doesn’t have the contest running at all.
All I see was the Bangladeshi workers wearing special uniforms and waiving the checkered flags for the occassion.

Somehow did feel a little better than the previous RON95 in term of power/acceleration.
The price is same.. RM 1.90 / L.
Just filled up rm30.95. There are three souvenirs for u to choose. A primax 95 extra shape of paper stick perfume(smell nice,like lavender smell), an aloid like primax 95 shape keychain and lastly a pen with the logo on it.
i picked the keychain. However i wasn’t sure if u choose to fill up Rm50.95 or Rm70.95 will entitle u to choose two or all three of the souvenirs or not.
lolx… if u pump rm30.95 u get a pen ==!!!

They just ask which do u want…. can choose 1 only.
nope…the cashier asked me what gift do you want..n aty first i claim key chain…i just filled up only 30.95..later, i change with car perfume…
at first the station dint know abt the promo. go claim later at night.
problem is, my savvy now got problem with acceleration right after filling with the new fuel.

I’ve tested it during my usual 45 minutes 3 highways journey to my office. it does feel different in term of power, better acceleration…not sure on the FC..
I filled up RM 70.95 at Petronas Semabok, Melaka. Got Keychain and got small hamper because there was a lucky draw yesterday. Other than that we will receive other prize when your receipt also won a lucky draw. Anyone who is successful will be contacted by phone
After using Primax95 & new fuel, below is the results.
Engine feels lighter, smoother, and more power.
Exhaust is less and smell cleaner.
Car feels faster. more agile and less vibrations.
Air-con colder and heal my sinus problem.
Tyre less wear and tear, and need less air top-up.
Seat more comfortable and solve my back-ache problem.
Horn sounds louder and clearer.
In whole of Jan, i paid RM350 for fuel. This month with new fuel, only RM60.
What a great experience after I just came back from my 1 month holiday to Italy and immediately went to pump the new fuel.
I guarantee BN won’t increase RON95 price after election, because I am their supporter. And why bully your supporter right?
