First revealed in 2007, Peugeot’s B-segment 207 hatchback is about due for replacement now, following your regular 5 year lifecycle. It was never officially offered in Malaysia though, except in coupe-convertible form. Peugeot has released a teaser video for the new Peugeot 208 subcompact. There’s no actual car in the video, but a date was specified – 2nd of November 2011. I guess we’ll find out more tomorrow!

Paul, I think you meant we will find out tomorrow:)
Hopefully, the 208 family will include a return to the past with a 200hp GTi version, also rumours that the HR1 concept will be the 208 crossover.
OMG. Can’t wait. After that can only drool. Coz a lot has been invested in the faux 207. Unless the tooling is common and the parts bin are huge, we won’t see it on local roads anytime soon. By the going rate, we’ll only have it in 5 years time at the end of its lifecycle in Europe. Our only chance would be if the French accountants would also want to jump on the Global Car bandwagon and realize that growth is in Asia.
Isn’t 2nd November tomorrow.
November 2nd is in 24 hours. December you mean? ;)
2nd November is tomorrow? Why wait another month?
2nd of November is tomorrow!
2nd November 2011 in in a month’s time?
U R kidding?
We are in November 2011.

Was about to decide whether want to get a Mazda 2 or Ford Fiesta. Now 208. Looks like need to for a bit longer. Not sure how the pricing will be.
