LDP lane closure in Puchong for LRT Extension works

LDP-lane-closure-map

Prasarana has announced a temporary lane closure and traffic diversions on the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) starting from KM23.9 till KM24.6, Putrajaya/Shah Alam bound. It is to facilitate launching works of the segmental box girder for Pier 234 of the Ampang LRT Line Extension Project.

The Putrajaya/Shah Alam bound lanes of the highlighted area (near Tractors Malaysia) and the ramp towards Putrajaya will be temporary closed from 11.00 pm until 5.00 am daily, starting from today (June 29) until July 15. To help ease traffic congestion, a contra flow will be implemented.

Prasarana says that the road closure is to ensure the safety of motorists as the works involve the use of heavy machinery and lifting of materials. Road barriers and flagmen will be in place to direct traffic, and warning signals will be put up to alert motorists. Stay alert and drive safe when in the area.

  • I wish LRT and MRT would just go underground instead of elevated. Less mess.
After all, you will have to go underground if you’re going to add lines in the future since you’ve taken the road reserve anyway. How much would it cost to go UG in 20 years time, if you think today it is expensive??
