Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) users, take note. Prasarana has announced that that there will be a one-night road closure with traffic diversions at the Kilometre 24 stretch of the LDP on July 4, which is tomorrow.
A 400-metre long stretch along the highway adjacent to Bank Rakyat and the Kompleks Rakan Muda will be closed from 11 pm until 6 am (Sunday morning).
The road closure is to facilitate launching works for the pedestrian bridge at Station 8 of the Ampang LRT Line extension project, and is necessary to safeguard all motorists travelling within the area where the use of heavy machinery and lifting of materials will take place.
To help ease traffic congestion, two alternative routes for road users will be introduced to guide those who are heading towards Putrajaya, Shah Alam and Bandar Sunway.
Alternative route for motorists from Bandar Sunway heading towards Putrajaya/Shah Alam
Motorists travelling on LDP from Bandar Sunway heading towards Putrajaya/Shah Alam will be redirected to travel along Lebuh Puteri, Jalan Industri PBP1 and converge back on to the LDP near Tractor Malaysia at Jalan Puchong.
Alternative route for motorists from Shah Alam/Putrajaya heading towards Bandar Sunway
Motorists travelling on the LDP from the direction of Shah Alam/Putrajaya will be redirected to travel along Jalan Industri PBP1 (near DHL) before converging back on to the LDP after Lebuh Puteri.
Road barriers, flagmen and warning signals will be put in place to redirect traffic and to warn motorists of the road closure and diversions.

what amazes or scares me is that without a middle column, this bridge will span about 10 Lanes across ldp…
What amazes me is that the mid span from both sides are 3/4 done but not touching each other yet in the middle. So it’s just hanging there without falling
