It doesn’t get any better than this, really. Here’s a great one-minute video that you should watch of the Acura NSX racing up the Pikes Peak. Honda’s new hybrid supercar, set to be built in Ohio, US, served as the official pace car this year in the race up the 4,302-metre mountain.

Honda R&D Americas Inc. prepared it with a unique livery and its senior PR representative, Sage Marie, got behind the wheel to give the viewer a truly enthralling spectacle of the run. With a selection of in-car Go Pros and 24 cameras along the 20 km route and its 156 turns, be prepared for a great viewing experience.

Just to recap, the Acura NSX has a 75-degree twin-turbo V6 engine mated to a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a three-motor Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. Put together, the total system output is 550 hp.
