The 3rd E-Mobilia World, themed “Eco, Efficient, Electric – Driving Sustainable Mobility” will be focusing on incorporating proven strategies and initiatives to develop the eco-friendly transport market within the ASEAN region.
It will be taking place on September 10 and 11 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Organised by Koelnmesse and co-organised by Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech Malaysia), E-Mobilia World will feature 200 leading international and regional players to address key topics in the areas of sustainable mobility development, incentivisation, implementation and adoption.
There will be key representatives from BMW, Renault, Mazda, Proton and Hyundai, as well as representatives from research institutions such as University of California Davis and Imperial College London. Foreign policy makers from the Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association, Metropolregion Hannover and the US Department of Energy will be present too.
Koelnmesse’s vice president Asia Pacific and managing director, Michael Dreyer, said that E-Mobilia World was established with the aim of becoming the number one destination for knowledge sharing and discussion on sustainable mobility. “We envision E-Mobilia World as a catalyst to drive conversation and interest in the sector, inspiring the incorporation of these technologies into daily lives.”
“Over the past two years, E-Mobilia World has proved to be a tremendous success attracting delegates from all over the world and encouraging serious discourse on important topics which I believe has paved the way for greater enthusiasm for sustainable transport within the region. We have received encouraging feedback from participants of the previous conferences and I am certain this year’s E-Mobilia World will be even more successful,” he added.
The 3rd E-Mobilia World will feature two key panel discussions, the customer voice and capturing the next wave of consumers and the forefront of vehicle technologies, innovations spurring the eco vehicle market. Other topics include solutions for full Integration of electric vehicles in urban mobility systems, the political and governmental framework for the mobility of the future, electric mobility and low emission vehicles in a roadmap for reducing carbon emissions and the commercialisation of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies by the US Department of Energy.
The participation fee for the 3rd E-Mobilia World is priced at USD$1,095 per delegate, with a 10% discount accorded to group registrations of three or more delegates, and a 15% discount for groups of five or more delegates. Public sector delegates and SMEs are offered a discounted rate of USD$500 per delegate.
