While there’s still no word regarding the Suzuki Ciaz for Malaysia since it was last spotted, the large B-segment sedan has already been further enhanced in Thailand. The Suzuki Ciaz RS that you see here receives cosmetic add-ons along with some minor interior upgrades for 2016.

Exterior-wise, the Ciaz RS is fitted with a bodykit that comprises of a front spoiler, skirts on the sides, a rear bumper spoiler and an additional spoiler for the trunk lip. Furthermore, it sits on 16-inch rims to complete and amplify its visual appearance.

Inside, additional items include a full-black interior accompanied with silver accents, and seats wrapped in leather upholstery. To top it off, the Ciaz RS gets auto climate control and a seven-inch Suzuki Smart Connect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay Link support.

As a refresher, the Suzuki Ciaz is a pretty large B-segment car. It measures in at 4,490 mm in length, 1,730 mm in width and 1,475 mm in height, while its wheelbase measures at 2,650 mm. To sum up, that’s C-segment territory, though it’s priced to compete against B-segment rivals. In Thailand, it’s the biggest car to have achieved eco car status.

No modifications have been done to the Ciaz RS. The Thai-specced version is powered by a 1.25 litre four-cylinder engine that makes 91 PS and 118 Nm of torque paired with a CVT transmission and is priced at 675k baht (RM79,755). In india, the (Maruti) Ciaz comes with a choice of a 95 PS/130 Nm 1.4 litre petrol mill or a 1.3 litre DDiS turbodiesel, while a 121 hp/158 Nm 1.6 litre petrol option is available in China.
