TC Euro Cars reveals Renault Captur price – RM117k

Renault Captur Review 19

The retail price for the Renault Captur – which was first previewed here in July last year – has finally been revealed by TC Euro Cars. The price list has gone up on the Renault Malaysia website, and has the B-segment SUV going for RM117,200 (on-the-road, without insurance), which falls just under the estimated RM118k to RM123k bandied about at point of preview.

The 4.12 metre-long Captur, which is based on the Clio supermini, is powered by a 1.2 litre TCe 120 turbocharged engine with 118 hp at 4,900 rpm and 190 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The downsized motor is paired to a six-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox and power goes to the front wheels. Performance specs include a 0-100 km/h time of 10.9 seconds and a 192 km/h top speed.

the spec is nothing special , just basic stuff. and the engine is so underpowered, much slower compare to XV or CX3.
