After showcasing two related concepts recently, the 5-Door at Tokyo and the Sedan in LA, Fuji Heavy Industries just announced that the 2017 Subaru Impreza will debut at the upcoming 2016 New York International Auto Show later this month. Yes, we’ll get to see the next-generation Impreza by March 23 – barely two weeks from now.
A single teaser image of the production car has been revealed, giving us a glimpse of the new model’s front end. It still looks typically Subaru, and nothing quite like the striking Impreza concepts shown a few months ago, which, unfortunately, is also typical of the brand.
What we do know, is that the car will be based on the new Subaru Global Platform. The fresh architecture will underpin the company’s full line of next-generation models, beginning with the 2017 Impreza. Improved torsional rigidity (up between 70-100%), NVH and safety are claimed.
We’ll know more in two weeks’ time. For now, what do you think of the 2017 Subaru Impreza teaser?

Well well well.. We all expected this to happen anyway. Subaru production models are always never to look somewhat similar to their concept models. Only they themselves can pull this kind of troll. But hey; Love. It’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru.
All the best, Subaru!
Inspira Facelift?
really cant wait for the new impreza!
i dont think MI will sell imprezza here in malaysia
I spot CX-5/Mazda 6’s headlights.:P
I don’t know about Teasers but Iriz teaser the best. Say Global car and all that and hype so much. Now become failure.
Since the death of Evo, you’re my next choice, Imprezza. You better have a 6 speed manual tranny. A better one than the current floppy unit. Current one feels like myvi geartick.
subaru, looking at your teaser, it seems that the headlight is still using halogen reflector? are u serious? haha
The front end look so Infiniti like
