VIDEO: Lexus LC 500 stars in new Super Bowl LI ad

The Lexus LC 500 coupe was certainly one of the most exciting cars to be introduced last year, with its jaw-dropping looks and sophisticated transmission setup. For the upcoming Super Bowl LI, the company will play a new spot during the game, titled Man and Machine.

The one minute-long ad features the LC, along with a performance by Lil Buck, who is known for a street dance style called jookin. In the background, you’ll hear one of Sia’s tracks – Move Your Body – from her current album This Is Acting, while acclaimed actress Minnie Driver provides her voiceover talent.

According to Lexus, a shorter, 30-second version of the spot will be aired during the second quarter of Super Bowl LI, also featuring the all-new LS 500, which was recently revealed earlier in the month.

“Lexus’ newest models reaffirm the brand’s performance, engineering, design, and craftsmanship prowess. The LC and LS were built from the ground up to satisfy the most demanding and discerning luxury buyers, and reflect a brand ethos that aligns with the world’s best luxury lifestyle brands,” said Brian Bolain, general manager of Lexus Marketing.

For those who have expressed interest in the LC, Lexus Malaysia has teased the arrival of the model for 2017, where both the LC 500 and hybridised LC 500h variants will be offered. Details on the cars’ specifications and pricing are not available at this time, but one thing’s for sure, that distinct styling is certainly a definite.
