The F45 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is set to receive a facelift after a prototype was spotted undergoing testing in Germany by our spy photographers. From what we can see, the changes appear to be minor, bringing the compact MPV up to par with the current range of BMW vehicles.
The car seen here looks to be wearing the Luxury exterior package, albeit with no changes in terms of bumper design, front and back. More noticeable features are the redesigned corona headlamps, which follow those on the latest 3 Series, 5 Series, 4 Series and 7 Series.
As explicitly stated by the “Hybrid Test Vehicle” sticker placed on the side of the prototype, this is likely the 225xe plug-in hybrid variant. If that is the case, a B38 1.5 litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine will power the front wheels, while an electric motor drives the rear axle.
Aside from the plug-in hybrid powertrain, a range of diesel and petrol engines will likely be offered, along with the optional xDrive all-wheel drive system. Other revisions will likely include an updated interior, where the latest iDrive infotainment system will be offered, along with an expanded safety and driver assist suite of systems.

No point buying BMW. Better buy Proton. Our Ministers say Proton higher quality and better handling than BMW and Volvo
Just buy a sedan lah . Can also active tour . No difference.
I wish they made this car sportier. It has potential.
BMW sell millions of vehicles but sad to say this 2-series active tourer is NOT one of them. According to Auto Express – Less fun than most BMW’s, noisy diesels & limited practicality.
